‘Lady Cobbler':- On a sultry forenoon, she sits waiting for customers. Young, dressed in the traditional outfit - a saree, she sits with the tools of her trade - an awl, shoe-form, thread, hammer and glue; her only means of income, the ticket to her daily meal! Perhaps she's helping her ailing husband to run their family on a meagre income. A stray customer here and there comes to mend their shoes. She sits all day long and waits...hoping the days get better, for her, for her family, and for everyone!
